About Us

The family of Michael P. Donaghy has created an annual benefit called, “The Michael P. Donaghy, Rock and Ride Your Heart Out Benefit.” This benefit will be held each year and will consist of a Motorcycle Benefit Ride and a Rock Concert! All proceeds from this benefit will go directly to the American Heart Association. The first Annual Benefit will be held at Greeley Park in Nashua, NH on August 1st.

The Michael P. Donaghy, Rock and Ride Your Heart Out Annual Benefit is being held to help raise funds and donations for the American Heart Association!

The AHA’s statistics show that heart disease and stroke, the number one and three killers, claimed the lives of almost 1,000,000 people last year. That is one person every 33 seconds. Your support will help change this sad fact.

The Annual Benefit is an all day event made up of a Motorcycle Tribute Ride from 1pm to 3:30pm, and then a rock concert and show being put on by the Jack Duncan Band, from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. Both parts of this event are being done In Memory of Michael P. Donaghy and others just like him - who may have suffered due to heart disease!

During this event there will be multiple raffles for prizes and items donated by local businesses and event sponsors, and a 50/50 raffle! All proceeds from the raffles, and prizes to be directly donated to the American Heart Association! Towards the end of the show, there will be a presentation to give the raised funds to a local representative from the AHA! A number of food and concession vendors have also been invited to join the event - so bring your appetites!

In Memory of Michael P. Donaghy

It's so hard to put into words how great a person Mike was. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back or stop everything he was doing to help anyone out. No matter if you were a family member, a friend, or a person he just met; he’d always be there with a sarcastic comment or a witty remark! I guess you could say he had a natural way of making everyone around him laugh or smile. That was just how he was! Mike had a special bond that varied depending on who he was with, a bond that many will never forget. Sadly it will be missed by all that knew Mike!

He was an amazing wood worker, with a god given talent! There is no way to explain his passion to this craft! Anyone who had the opportunity to work with Mike understood his desire to have everything flawless – right down to the last detail. He would undertake any challenge and make it look simple, and his work was practically unmatched in the field. He had the opportunity to be on an episode of "This Old House" and some of his work has been published in wood working magazines. His work was truly exception, and remains a work of art!

Mike's ultimate passion was Motorcycles…Sportbikes to be exact! Whether he was working on them, riding them, racing them at the track, or volunteering his time to help people out on motorcycle websites across the internet, he truly enjoyed and loved every aspect of motorcycles. He was a founding member and administrated sites like, Gixxer.com (GDC).

Mike had an insane 2001 Suzuki GSXR1000 Sport bike, that he spent 8 years creating. The only way to describe this bike is INSANE!! If he was here... He'd post up his list of mods to his bike with a big grin and give you a finger and say something along the lines of, “here's my list. Now top that!”

Sadly on March 15th, 2009 Mike passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH. His death was a complete shock to all! It’s hard to believe at only thirty-four (34) years old someone could go so quickly – without warning!

In memory of his tragic death, the family of Michael P. Donaghy has created an annual benefit called, “The Michael P. Donaghy, Rock and Ride Your Heart Out Benefit.” This benefit will be held each year and will consist of a Motorcycle Benefit Ride and a Rock Concert! T-Shirts and Event Merchandise

During the event itself, we will be selling T-Shirts. The profit raised from the T-Shirts (...and Concert DVD's) will be donated to the American Heart Association. There will be 3 different Shirts available: Event T-Shirt, In Memory of Michael P. Donaghy Biker Shirt, and Jack Duncan Band Shirt. There will also be a professional videographer at this event to record and make available a Complete Rock Your Heart Out DVD.

The Rock Your Heart Out Concert DVD will be: $15.00 each + Shipping and Handling Fees if Applicable.
